Told with refreshingly dry wit, this is a holiday story of multiple surprises. It reads well as a stand alone. The characters are all eccentric and perfectly individual. It seems that Baby is going to make an entrance ahead of schedule even though the "experts" assure Ashley there is plenty of time.
A chance meeting in a grocery parking lot saves the day and begins new friendship.
Holiday stress is exacerbated by extended family drama all of whom have well meaning advice.
Baby's early arrival also messes with the schedule for Ashley's YouTube show. It seems like her substitute presenters did an amazing job until she the response by her top competitor.
One again, everyone has advice on what Ashley should do. New mother hormones surge!
The book culminates with an active and intense, heart-pounding party encounter.
Overall, funny, heartwarming, and reminds us that no matter how they show it, family always cares.
